Building on local insights and practitioner experiences, this session explores how CSOs in India and Peru are engaging young people in shaping what life skills matter, why we measure them, and how to do it meaningfully. Through case stories, interactive reflection, participants will examine participatory tools and youth-led indicators, and gain frameworks to design inclusive, context-sensitive measurement approaches grounded in lived experience and redefining the purpose of life skills assessment—shifting from accountability to empowerment.
